Vending:
Cohutta Song Fest will provide an approximately 12 X 12 space for your sales booth.
IF ACCEPTED AS A VENDOR, VENDOR WILL PROVIDE:
$28 for the space to Cohutta Song Fest. $28 space fee must be paid on or before September 15th, 2024 by cash, check, or online. Vendor Space Fee is non-refundable.
Vendor’s own pop-up tent, tables, and any other equipment needed for setup (including tables, chairs). NO ELECTRICITY WILL BE FURNISHED
Vendor is solely responsible for paying all state taxes and obtaining any permits that may be specific to Vendor’s participation.
Vendor acknowledges that this is an outdoor event which will be held RAIN OR SHINE.
Cohutta Song Fest requires Vendor works to be hand-made or embellished. Produce must be locally grown within a 100 mile radius. Booth reservations may be canceled if Vendor products do not meet this requirement.
Vendor Booths:
All installation and dismantling will be performed by and at the expense of Vendor.
All vehicles must be out of vending area and may not return until close of the event.
Vendor agrees not to drill holes in the asphalt or ground in order to set up a booth. Vendor Shall be responsible for all damage done to any part of any street, grounds, or any other property.
Vendor shall not bring or allow any article to be brought into or any act done on the site that will injure or deface any part of the site, nor permit anything to be done by Vendor’s employees, affiliates, agents, or representatives by which the Site may in any manner be injured, marred, or defaced.
Vendor shall bring no hazardous substances or materials into the vicinity of Vendor’s site or the Cohutta Song Fest grounds.
Other Provisions:
Vendor shall not assign this Application or permit to any other person to use Vendor’s space unless that person’s name appears on this Application and is approved by Cohutta Song Fest. Vendor shall not sublet Vendor’s space in whole or in part, with or without a fee.
Vendor assumes all responsibility and liability for any and all damage, loss (including, without limitation, by theft, fire, destruction, act of God, accident, or any cause whatsoever), liability, claim or injury arising in, of, or around Vendor’s space or Vendor’s property, relating to the use of Vendor’s assigned space, or otherwise caused as a result of the actions, omissions, or negligence of Vendor, Vendor’s agents, affiliates, employees, representatives, or other third parties. Vendor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Cohutta Song Fest, the City of Cohutta, and each of their agents, affiliates, employees, representatives, and related third parites from any claims, damages, losses and liability arising out of this Application, Vendor’s obligations hereunder, or otherwise relating to the Cohutta Song Fest in any way.
In furtherance of the foregoing, neither Cohutta Song Fest nor the City of Cohutta shall be responsible for the security/damage of any inventory, supplies, artwork, or other property of Vendor or Vendor’s agents or affiliates.
Cohutta Song Fest reserves the right to immediately cancel and terminate Vendor’s booth and site without notice at any time for any reason and Cohutta Song Fest shall have no obligation to Vendor hereunder (including, without limitation, return of vendor’s space fee).
Vendors offering food items (jams, jellies, relishes, baked goods, etc) should be in compliance with Georgia Cottage Food regulations and be properly licensed as a Cottage Food Vendors. The following items can be sold by licensed Cottage Food Vendors in Georgia:
Loaf Breads, Rolls, and Biscuits
Cakes
Pastries and Cookies
Candies and Confections
Fruit Pies
Jams, Jellies, and Preserves
Dried Fruits
Dry Herbs, Seasonings and Mixtures
Cereals, Trail Mixes, and Granola
Coated or Uncoated Nuts
Vinegar and Flavored Vinegar
Popcorn, Popcorn Balls, and Cotton Candy
